This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. Submit offers on RFQ-RML-C-1879813.
This solicitation is a request for quotes(RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-97 is effective January 24, 2018. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333314 with a small business size standard of 500. This is a not a total small business set aside.
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Bethesda, MD Laboratory of Clinical Infectious Disease, is seeking to purchase:
• Hamamatsu Orca-flash 4.0 LTS SCMOS camera, USB 3.0, 30 FPS, #C11440-42U
• Nikon NIS-Elements BR imaging software (#MQS32000), Elements:4D imaging module (#MQS42540), including software installation
• Windows 7, 64BIT PC, 16 GB RAM 2TB
• 24" LED IPS monitor
• C-DA C-Mount/ISO camera adapter 1X (#MQD42005)
• Warranty must be stated on quote
• Delivery costs must be stated on quote

FOB Point shall be Destination: Bethesda, MD 20892

Award will be based on the capability of the item offered to meet the above stated salient characteristics, past performance, delivery, warranty, price and the best value to the government.

The government intends to award a single firm, fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.

This is an open-market combined synopsis/solicitation for a Hamamatsu Digital CMOS camera system with Nikon imaging and 4D software, workstation, monitor, and connector to be compatible with a Nikon 80i microscope. The government intends to award a purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
Submission shall be received not later than 3/1/2018 9:00 am Mountain Time.
