The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Division of Contracting and General Services is preparing to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) 140F0219R0047. The RFP will be posted on or about 09/26/2019.

This requirement is to perform the following: 1) replace the existing externally insulated metal air duct with new larger externally insulated metal air duct to increase room air flows which will allow the existing heat pump to operate at full capacity; 2) test, adjust, and balance existing HVAC equipment to provide the new air flows; 3) submit a Test and Balance Report showing compliance with the specified test and acceptance parameters. The project will take place at Uvalde National Fish Hatchery, in Uvalde County, Texas.

This RFP is being advertised as a Total Small Business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238220 – Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a small business size standard of $15 Million.
