The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a set aside for certified small business contractors for Park Attendant No. 6 park attendant services at Cape Cod Canal Sandwich Recreation Areas, Sandwich, MA. The period of performance is from 18 April 2018 through 08 October 2018 and will be set aside for Small Businesses. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 to $50,000. Location: The Cape Cod Canal Field Office is located at 40 Academy Drive in Buzzards Bay, MA 02532. The Sandcatcher Recreation Area is located near 55 Ed Moffitt Drive in Sandwich, MA 02563
Description of Work:
The contractor (Park Attendants) shall perform thedaily operation and maintenance of the Sandwich, Bulkhead and Sandcatcher Recreation Areas and the Visitor Center West Lot of the Cape Cod Canal. The recreation areas have comfort stations, picnic sites, benches, numerous trash and recycling receptacles, visitor parking lots, landscaped areas, over 6.5 acres of parkland combined and access to the South Canal Service Road. The contractor shall perform the daily operation and maintenance of the Sandwich, Bulkhead and Sandcatcher Recreation Areas in addition to the Visitor Center West Lot and approximately2 miles of the Service Road at the Cape Cod Canal. The recreation areas have comfort stations (2 total), picnic sites, benches, several trash and recycling receptacles, visitor parking lots, landscaped areas, over 6.5 acres of parkland combined and access to the South Canal Service Road.
The applicable NAICS code is 561990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $11,000,000. The project will be set aside for Small Businesses. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New EnglandDistrict.
