Requirement: The United States Government seeks to lease a minimum of 7,634 ANSI BOMA Usable Square Feet of office and warehouse space (approximately 840 ANSI BOMA office area space with 6,834 ANSI BOMA warehouse space) and 10 parkingspaces.
The maintenance operation is responsible for the 3 National Historic Sites in teh Boston area - Fredrick Law Olmsted National Historic Site, Longfellow/Washington Headquarters National Historic SIte and John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site. The agency mission is to preserve the natural and cultural values of the national park system. The properties under their specific care, require extensive preservation as it relates to carpentry based on the age of the homes and other structures. This carpentry operation is the function of the Factilities Operations Division that we seek to lease space for.
Careful repair or reconstruction of historic railings and fences, garden lattices, windows and shutters, flooring, stairs and porches are just some items that this facitlity works on.
A portion of the space is dedicated to the storage of materials and supplies, seasonal equipment such as snow blowers, shovels, lawn mowers and trimmers.
The delineated area must be in the Brookline/Cambridge areaof Boston MA.
Offeredspace must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismicand sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The space must be capable of meeting the agencies security requirements. Space shall be located withina prime commercial district within the determined delineated area stated above,with attractive and prestigious, professional surroundings with a prevalence ofmodern design and or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Building must have sufficient public parking nearby. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain
