The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Iowa City VA Health Care System intends to issuean Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract to provide all tools, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and labor necessary for completion of general construction project 636A8-12-002, "Electrical Site Development" at the Iowa City VA Health Care System, Iowa City, Iowa, in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work includes, but not limited to, structural support for new 1500kW generator in an enclosure, new MCC's in Chiller Plant, new switchgear and switchboard for normal and emergency power, new room to house HVAC.
