Required items to be purchased include:
Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) for housing support management and project manager positions, with performance taking place at Misawa & Kadena Air Bases in Japan.
Applicability of Authority:
This purchase will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). Cherokee Nation Management & Consulting, L.L.C. currently holds a contract with the Department of HHS, which will be terminated on 31 Oct 2019. As such, both Misawa & Kadena Air Bases will have multiple personnel terminated, resulting in a critical mission hindrance. Since this will just be a bridge contract awarded to prevent a substantial duplication of costs to the government and unacceptable delays, an enterprise contract will be awarded in the future for a longer period of performance.
Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfythis agency requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitiveproposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely with the discretion of the Government.
