The Cheyenne, WY Veterans Affairs' Medical Center is seeking the services of a qualified Architectural Engineering (A/E) firm with specialized experience to provide A/E services for supplying a design to facilitate anew addition and minor renovations to an existing laboratory at the Cheyenne campus as contemplated by project 442-12-358. A/E services will be required to survey the existing laboratory on campus, and design an approximately 2500 square foot addition along with some other minor renovations. A preliminary plan and program have been developed by the VA and shall be utilized for this project. The Cheyenne, WY VAMC campus is on the National Register of Historic places. New construction must satisfy requirements of Wyoming State Historic Preservation office, and utilize all VA requirements for new construction. Selected A/E firm will develop construction drawings and specifications for this project. Please see theattached statement of work (SOW) and the evaluation criteria for greater detailand informational purposes. The estimated construction range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Site location for this project is 2360 E. Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82001. All interested firms are required to submit two (2) recently completed Standard Form (SF) 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications, as well as (1) electronic copy, to the Contracting Officer shown below no later than 4:00 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time), June 14, 2012. Solicitation VA-259-12-R-0398 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. THE GOVERNMENT'S OBLIGATION FOR AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF APPROPIATED FUNDS. AGAIN THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
