* IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS *
SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:

(PC 5) Relay, Power, SPOT, 115 VAC, 60 Hz, Equal or similar to Hygrodynamics Model 34-006-03.

(PC 6) Capacitor, 0.047uf, 600 voe, Equal or similar to Sprague Model 160P-6TM-547.

(PC 7) Weather-tight Enclosure, NEMA Type 4, Equal or similar to Hygrodynamics Model 9333.

(PC 8) Humidistat, Humidity Control Station, Equal or similar to Hygrodynamics Model 3262.

> Does the system control thedehumidifier?

Yes. Four humidity sensors are used to activate the Pc.5 relay upon demand for lower humidity. The relay contacts shall activate the DH unit.

> Does each humidistat need unique set points?

Yes. Each humidity sensor shall activate the DH unit by switching ON the Pc.5 relay coil power at levels above the adjustable desired humidity setting (approximately 38% RH) and switching OFF upon achieving lower humidity below the desired RH setting.

> Is this a contractor re-tool or will this be done in house?

These parts will be assembled bythis shipyard in house, and installed onboard the ship to connect the Pc.8 humidistats to the relay panel housing Pc.5 & Pc.6, the Dehumidifier unit, and Pc.7 alarm unit.

> Are there any diagrams/schematics of the existing system?

A basic diagram can be provided (NAVSEA drawing 302-5311702C).

Note:FOB Destination: Bremerton, WA is default in the Solicitation.

The RFQ will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.

A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date andtime set for receipt of quotes may render vendors offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
