58 -- C-Band Radar Tracking Transponders in Support of NAVAIR PMA-208 SOL N00019-18-R-0033 DUE 032219 POC Alison M Grosch, Contract Specialist, Email alison.grosch@navy.milThe Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), in support of PMA-208, intends to competitively procure C-Band Radar Tracking Transponders. The tasks to be performed by the contractor are design, build, and test, first article and production C-Band Radar Tracking Transponders which meet the requirements of Performance Specification PMA208-C-Band Radar Tracking Transponder -7007, and are in accordance with RCC 262-14 (June 2014) as tailored by Performance Specification PMA208-C-Band Transponder-17007 (08 Mar 2018).


THIS WILL BE A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT. The Government expects to select one Offeror on the basis of its proposal providing the "best value" to the Government, all factors considered, as outlined in the solicitation. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed-Price five (5) year Indefinite DeliveryIndefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract will be awarded. The minimum contract quantity of 3 ea First Article Test Units and associated data will be ordered under the first delivery order that will be issued at the time of contract award. The contract overall maximum is three each (3 ea) FAT units and five-hundred each (500 ea) production units.

It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or about 25 March 2019 to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov.Except as noted here, the Government will only release the solicitation/Requestfor Proposal (RFP), including any subsequent amendments, on this website. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted, no written requests willbe accepted and no hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed. Any amendment issued will be posted to the same website. After the solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all amendments. Vendors shall submit their proposal in accordance with the instructions provided in the solicitation as no emailed or faxed proposals will be accepted.
