The requirement will be to procure M69 assets and utilize program management, systems engineering, and non-recurring engineering services. The total period of performance for this effort will be 84 months.
The M69 Mask System was selected to meet the requirements of fixed-wing aircraft that
do not have Pressure Breathing for Gravity (PBG) and ejection capabilities and that do
not fly above 40,000 feet.
Specifically the effort will involve procurement of M69 mask systems, aircraft kits, spares and special tools. Additionally, it will require program management, systems engineering and non-recurring engineering services to support continuing aircraft integration testing.
The Government does not possess a competitive technical data package (TDP). Full data rights to the TDP would have to be negotiated with the current contractor. The Government has access to limited drawings but does not possess a detailed design specification in order to successfully compete the production of the M69 Mask System.
