The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award a sole source fixed-price contract to Geisel, Frank DBA Geisel Consulting for expert independent consulting services under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The Procurement is for subject matter expert advice regarding emerging technologies, strategic technology plans, andindustry innovation activities as it relates to automation, machine learning, cloud architectures, and remote sensing. NGA believes Geisel Consulting is the only source reasonably available to satisfy this requirement. Geisel Consulting is a small business firm that provides a wide range of disciplines with an emphasis onsolving complex problems requiring "boundary spanning" solutions in domains of:Satellite Systems, Intelligence Systems, Underwater Acoustics and Exploration Systems, Communications Systems, and Oil / Gas transportation Systems. Their technical expertise includes demonstrated success in Geopolitical sense-making, open-source analysis and decision-support; Software coding and software systems deployment, operations, analysis for GEOINT applications; and modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink and ORCAD/NETWARS for planning and execution; robotic guidance and navigation for autonomous operations.

No competition is being sought.

The Period of Performance will be for one year after contract award.

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contract Specialist within 5 days of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on theresponses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
