Mice will be tested for light aversion and blink studies in relation to photosensitivity. Personnel services will also be provided to perform surgicalimplantation of recording electrodes and telemetry units. These services will be carried out in the Department of Physiology at the University of Iowa. The methods identified in the study are practical and would be implemented into clinical practice and clinical trials if proven useful. It is necessary to use the services of the University of Iowa to meet the requirements of the grant proposal under the grant Photosensitivity as a preclinical assessment for treatment of post-traumatic headache, Principal Investigators: Andrew Russo, PhD, and Andrew Pieper, MD, PhD, Grant #B2101-R.
