The objective of this sole source award is to procure the software that leverages Augmented Reality (AR) technologies, as well as Haptic feedback devices toenable a remote surgeon to guide medical personnel through a procedure completely remotely. The Government require the following specifications for ARTEMIS: (1) run a visualization client on Microsoft HoloLens as a unique software application (2) run a shared persistent service backend that operates on a windows server or virtual machine (3) allow user to define a session for team members to join(4) allow the client to choose a shared session to join and identify their location (5) allow a user to set their status as either medic or surgeon (6) allow auser to identify themselves to other users (7) capture the view and structure of the patient from the medic's device (8) Indicate where surgeon is in relation to the patient. regardless of location (8) indicate where the surgeon's hands are in relation to the patient (9) display a virtual patient and surgery space in the surgeon user's view, created from the medic's view (10) integrate with a haptic feedback device for the hands to allow a surgeon user to know where they arerelative to the patient's virtual body (11) allow users to indicate a location of interest on the patient (12) Provide voice communication over the network forusers at multiple locations

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the requiredwork. Capability statements shall not exceed 6 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order.
